Kai

 In class we are doing a work on our chromebook. We had to do something about kai/food in Te Reo. We had to write what food we like and what food we dont like but we had to do it in Maori.

In the last couple weeks we have been working on our Calandar Art. We are meant to be doing a Indegionous art but it does'nt have to be a Australian animal. I am doing a fish. Here is my finished product.

Olympic games Greymain.

 On Wednesday we did the Greymain olympics I was in team USA my team got a bronze medal. Brazil got gold and Belgium got the silver medal. There was soccor, Volleyball the gumboot throw and heaps of other activities.

What im thankful for

 In class we are doing a slide about what we are thankful for I am still doing mine but i will finish it evntually. This is what ive done so far.

Descriptive Writing.

 This week we did a descriptive piece of writing we had to look at a picture and describe what it would be like in the picture. This is my finished piece of writing.

MTB - Hanmer camp 

My Favorite part was mountain biking because it was exciting going down the hills and going over the bumps. T1 had to go with the other classes because of the floods that happened in NZ. My favorite MTB track was the snakes and ladders track because it was cool doing all of the zigzags and it was quite hard to see where the track was.

Hanmer Springs camp.

 This year in T1 we went on camp we had to go with the other two totara classes because of the flooding that happened in New Zealand in 2021. Went to hanmer springs that was really fun. We got to go to the hot pools, Mountain Biking, Tree climbing, Orientering and walking up conical hill. My favortite activity was Mountain biking, tree climbing and going down the big hydroslides at the hot pools. They were my favorite parts because they the mountain bike tracks were fun and climbing up the tree that was 25m and i climbed right to the top.v

Hanmer springs geothermal

In two days time we are going to hanmer springs for camp.

Descriptive Writing.

 This week we had to write a desricptive piece of writing we had to look at a picture and describe like we were at that spot. Here is my finished piece of writing.

I am lying in a hammock on the beach drinking my tropical drink with a lemon on the side. As I look out at sea I see dolphins jumping around and having fun. I Stand into the soft flaming hot sand. I go for a swim. I still see the dolphins jumping around and I can see all of the fish that are swimming below me. I get out of the water and the sand feels so nice on my feet I lay back down and take a sip of my tropical drink.

Letter

For this activity we had to pretend we were in the war. So we had to write a letter to someone that is in our family so I wrote my letter to my parents.

To Mum and Dad

We are at the Gallipoli Peninsula and we are having trouble getting our troops up the cliff face. There is lots shooting and firing around us, it is incredibly scary. I so wish that I was safe at home. The food is weird and tastes like cold dry biscuits, I can't wait for mums delicious roast pork with crackling. I have made some good friends, they are from Brisbane in Australia.

Animals at War

This week we were learning about ANZAC. We had to write different slides of information. I chose the subject called 'Animals at War' We had heaps of different subjects to pick but we picked animals at war

Te Reo

In class this week we did Te Reo with Miss Sadler. We had to write about a sentence about who our friends are but in Te Reo. 

Report Writing

In class we are doing a writing called report writing. I am nearly finished my report writing. My title is about fishing. I am doing all types of different fish like trout, Kahawai, Kingfish,  and i am talking about what gear you need for fishing. This is my report writing so far.

 Today in class we had to do an activity I did a bookmark. It ended out pretty good. We had to describe the bookmark about a book that we are reading in class now. Here is my finished product.
