matariki bingo acrostic poem.

this is my  Matariki acrostic poem it was one of our activities for Matariki bingo.

Show not tell

W.A.L.T show not tell in our writing.

This was easy because 

This was hard using the word angry

Her lips are shaking 

Her eyes are furious 

Her hands are rolling up into a fist.

Her guts are gurgling so fast

Her heart is beating so fast 

She is so grumpy she wants to kick someone

what i found easy i found it easy to make the other persons burger.

what i found hard i found it hard to write the instructions.

i liked it because we got to eat the burgers

This morning Mamaku 3 and Te Heringa went to the garden. We had to get in to groups it was me Quaide Jack. We saw a lady called Whaea Eli  and  planted pumpkin and Bazil. Everybody found big long worms. wW got to put gloves on and we got a face mask because if you breath dirt you will be sick. we did it for Matariki.

Perimeter and Area

WALT solve the perimeter and areas of shapes
 It was easy to work out what numbers I had to use. It was hard work it out when I had couldn't count the squares.

Mintie Challenge

WALT use a ruler to measure to the millimetre 10 mm= 1cm 100 cm=1m 1000 m = 1k

it was hard to because we had to rip the mintie wrapper until you could not rip any more. i liked eating the mintie because it was yum
it was easy to try not to rip the wrapper.
next time i will try to not rip the wrapper.
